  About Me:
I am a single 27 year old female. I have been overweight my ENTIRE life. I did lose some weight when I went to college, but coming home and getting a career, I don't move around as much and I put the weight back on. I am tired of being the funny "CHUBBY" friend and I want to walk into a room and have someone WANT to get to know me more. I have a LOT of guy friends, but no BOYFRIENDS. I want that to change as I want to get married and have children and so I decided I would lose the weight! That and I want to be HEALTHY and CAREFREE! I want to go to amusement parks AND ride the rides (comfortably)! Please encourage me through this time as I will need a great deal to overcome my problem with obesity.
  Starting Weight: 450 lbs.
  Gender: Female

I have just recently joined this website and seen the amount of weight loss you have lost and I instantly wanted to see your story. I have also been heavy my ENTIRE life. It is awful to deal with this type of thing all your life but it makes us stronger in the long run. Keep up the good work. I wish you all the success in the world.

So I am back on the wagon after having a "nasty" fall! I was a little bruised but I have recovered gracefully! I have no reason as to why I had fallen off as I was losing weight successfully and felt better than ever, but nonetheless, it happened. I am GOING to fix my weight problems WITH the help of my Lord and Savior because without his hand in this, I can do nothing! All my anxieties and worries are now his and he will allow me to overcome this! BY GOD'S GRACE I CAN DO IT!!!!

I am so glad that you are doing the right thing concerning not having weight loss surgery. It is a quick way to ruin your life. I did not choose to have weight loss surgery for vanity reasons. I was 22 years old at the time, was hospitalized for the flu, and trusting my Doctors advice, I had the surgery. It was the biggest mistake of my life. Doctors love new technology, and that surgery was experimental at that time. It killed about half of those who had it, including me. But God gave me another chance. I had it reversed after a few years, in order to try to put my life back in order. Even after the surgery reversal, I delt with an over 30 year affliction that was the result of that surgery. I spent the night last night back in the hospital, due to intestinal problems, that are related to that surgery, even though it was reversed. I lived in hell because of having that surgery. Take the advice of someone who knows the truth. Trust in God's help. He created your body, and He can help you maintain it, if you will only believe. Hugs, MAGNOLIABLOSSOM

Hello, I just joined up. I hope we can be friends. I have got a lot to lose, and I am hopeful in making new friends in the process to share in accomplishments, trials, recipes, or what ever else comes up to make it a more exciting process. I am listed as MAGNOLIABLOSSOM. I have tried everything to lose weight in the past including nearly losing my life to weight loss surgery back in the 70's, and have lost, but gained it back each time from all the various types of weight loss. Success comes with change. I am this time going to make some changes that I am hopeful to be lasting changes, by not telling myself what I cannot have, or by trying all the lastest fads, but by telling myself what I can have, that will be far better choices, all while paying close attention to what my body tells me. Because I do believe that our bodies do talk to us, by reacting to various foods we ingest. Have a beautiful Sunday! Hugs, MAGNOLIABLOSSOM

Yesterday I stuck to the 1100 calories but didn't get a chance to go walking. I am going to just eat something if I get too hungry before I go to bed lol Thanks for the support, keep me posted on your success!
