 | JulianneC123 | 20 lbs | (28) entries | (5) comments | |   |     My trainer is really working me out. He tried to make me do the stair climber. I literally had to jump off the thing when I was too tired to go on and had to hike to get up on it in the first place!
We did legs today. I definitely think I'll be feeling it tomorrow. The ab machine almost killed me. Since I'm wearing white (and it's so unforgiving), I refused to lay down and do the hamstring machine. Last thing I need is for everyone around me to see how big my butt is and where my panty line is!
I've not overeaten since I started this. The test will be this weekend at the wedding. I don't know if I've lost anything yet, but I sure hope I have. I'd love to see the scale down a few by the end of the weekend! Maybe I can take a nice walk after the wedding or at least walk around the outlet mall on Sunday before I drive home. If the resort has a gym, I might just go there and do the treadmill just to get some exercise going!
My hope is to be down 1 size by October. It's certainly doable! I'm going to focus on 1 day at a time and do my best. | |   | Posted on August 27th, 2010 |
 | JulianneC123 | 20 lbs | (28) entries | (5) comments | |   |     Feeling good. Had a good night. Did a little Zumba. Studied and got an A on my Devices quiz. Also did not cheat on my diet last night. Someone had an almond pound cake this morning. I barely had a morsel (literally just a crumb you could see through).
Just had an early snack. Think I'll be heading to the gym within the hour to do a Nautilus circuit. If I have any extra time left over, I might get on the treadmill a bit, but I'm not going to push it. I can always return to the gym after work for an extra bit of calorie burn. I'm determined to make this work. I have to do it for myself. Besides, there are all kinds of hot guys at the gym. Talk about motivation! | |   | Posted on August 26th, 2010 |

I'd gone back to my old knee-jerk reactions to stress (eating sweets & carbs) and wasn't thinking. Since the anniversary party is in 3 days, there's no hope of losing a ton of weight between now and then. What I will hope for is that I do the best I can on my finals and finish this semester strong.
After a long talk with my mom on the phone today about my lack of weight loss, I was proud of myself. I didn't need to be defensive with her and I didn't let her negative comments hurt me. I was a realist. I have a lot of weight to lose. While she lost 50 lbs 10 years ago, I have 150 lbs to lose now. We are different people.
I went to the gym today (the second time in a week) and I worked up a sweat. I felt good about it. I'd like to go back now but I've got 2 finals on Friday, so I need to study. I ate reasonably well today. I didn't go overboard on my calories but I did cheat and have a potato chip and a half of a chocolate donut from Dunkin Donuts (thanks to co-workers bringing in fattening food). All-in-all, that's remarkably well. I'm proud that I had a taste but didn't indulge in sweets.
I just had a chicken salad sandwich for a late lunch and am stuffed. I will try to do a little bit of some exercise video when I get home, but not more than 20 minutes to be fair to my schoolwork.
Watching Dance Your Ass Off has been such a great motivator. These people were so unhealthy 20 weeks ago. A few of the guys are down 80 - 101 lbs, while the girls are down anywhere from 50 - 85 lbs. What an achievement. Whatever I do, it will be because of me and I won't compare myself to anyone but me. | |   | Posted on August 25th, 2010 |

 | nichole130 | 4 lbs | (1) entries | (0) comments | |   |     ok, here we go. This is my 1 millionth time to start a weight loss routine, so I hope this is the one that will work for me. I have 30 pounds too loose, and want to loose those 30 before they turn into 60. I can feel on my knees already what those extra 30 pounds do. My goal weight was once easily maintained (15 yrs ago), so it is a realistic plan, and I KNOW I can do it..... | |   | Posted on August 17th, 2010 |
